Medicare in St. Cloud
CentraCare’s St. Cloud Hospital and its clinics dominate care in Stearns, Benton and Sherburne counties, and it contracts differently with each Medicare Advantage carrier. Original Medicare with a Minnesota supplement covers CentraCare without a network question; an Advantage plan needs checking each year.
Stearns County is not a Cost-plan county, so the choice is Advantage or Original Medicare plus a supplement and Part D. The St. Cloud VA is a second consideration for the area’s many veterans; see our veterans guide.
